There’s more than one way to be part of the PILAS Lab. Take part in a research study, help us create materials for future studies, or join us for other lab activities. We offer both paid and volunteer opportunities.
Ways to Get Involved
Research Studies
Take part in our studies, which range from online surveys to computer tasks in our lab to EEG studies that measure brain activity.
Photo Sessions
We’re currently taking photos to use as materials in future studies. Sessions are short, and you’ll know exactly how your photos will be used before you agree.
Other Lab Activities
From pilot testing to community events, we sometimes need extra hands for projects outside our formal studies.
What to Expect
- Signing up is not a commitment. When an opportunity opens, we’ll send you the details, including whether it’s paid or volunteer, and you decide whether to take part.
- Your information stays with us. We use it only to contact you about PILAS Lab opportunities and never share it. Email pilas.lab@oregonstate.edu at any time to be removed from the list.
